The Brigades Youth Ministry began from an Indonesian youth fellowship (cell group) in Sydney Australia. As time passed by, this youth fellowship found a longing to reach out to the Indonesian communities within Sydney, particularly in the Northwestern suburbs (such as Epping, Marsfield, North Ryde, including the Indonesian students of Macquarie University) and Sydney City.

The Brigades Youth is based in Sydney Australia and is under the leadership of Pastor Agus D. Setyahardja (Senior Pastor of Christ Living Church Australia).
