Sound Team

CLC Sound Ministry existed since CLC first started their worship service. It was back in 18 June 2006, where our Worship Leader's vocal sound was reinforced using a single microphone plugged into a guitar amp! Back then, CLC sound team doesn't have the luxury of having a fully designed front of house (FOH) speakers and mixer.
Couple months later, CLC was blessed with few generous people who supported the ministry by purchasing our own basic sound system. Including a mixer, two Front of House speakers and several microphones. The ministry was then blessed with a new stage multicore. For around 1 year, our sound team need to pack up and tear down the sound equipments in weekly basis.
In 2007, CLC moved to a new large hall building in Kogarah, here we have a dedicated room specially designed to store our mixer, EQ rack and effects processor. Hence the team no longer need to carry our mixer around every week.
In 2009, we are blessed with a new Allan and Heath 32-channels mixer console, with EQ, effect processors, foldback monitor speakers and several wireless mics. Praise the Lord!
Our Mission Statement: CLC Sound Team exists to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by providing quality sound services to our speakers, vocalists and music team, so that every message in the word or song would be clearly heard and understood.
Purpose: To glorify and exact the Lord Jesus Christ through electronic sound reinforcement.

Why do we need Sound Team?
In CLC main hall building, it is essential to have a solid sound reinforcement, almost majority of the ministries in CLC is involved with audio. Worship leaders, singers, choir and speakers need to reproduce a good level of sound through the speakers to give more impact to congregation. In addition, we need sound reinforcement to ensure every single person in the building able to hear every word clearly spoken by CLC speakers. We believe in a maximum spirit of excellence to our Sound Ministry. Providing the expertise in an attitude of joy and patience.
