Discipleship & Training Class

CLC congregation must grow (spiritual quality) and increase (quantity), because the CLC is designed to be a church of the Lord Jesus Christ that have a "large" impact in this world. To achieve this goal, the spiritual life of the CLC congregation is built through Discipleship and developed its service capacity through training programs.

Discipleship Program is done through Bible Study every Saturday at our Dynamic Saturday meeting from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Bible Study includes teaching about the doctrine (The Basics of Christian Life), Christology (the deity of Christ), Missiology (Evangelism), Eschatology (End Times), etc.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Each couple, whether already married or about to be married, are also discipled by Holy Matrimony class. The purpose of discipleship is to equip couples to be able to realize a biblical household as the image of the relationship between Christ and His bride (the church). Discipleship classes are conducted every Saturday at 3:00 to 4:30 pm in Dynamic Saturday meeting.

"'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church."

Training programs were conducted in each service department to equip the congregation to be able to improve its service quality. This program also includes training for congregation that have a special service calling as a preacher, namely Hermeneutics (Understanding and Interpreting the Bible) and Homelitika (Science for Preaching). The program is conducted on every Sunday at 12.30-2 pm in Dynamic Sunday meeting.

It is expected that through this training and discipleship programs, CLC congregation not only want to serve God but also able to serve with the best quality, to produce the best service for the glory of God.

You are encouraged to attend discipleship and training programs for your spiritual growth in order to meet the highest calling of God in your own life. Do not waste this best chance, as it might come only once in your life.
